The Great Fur Artist Zuki in his interview given to Alexei Loushnikov, Chairman of the Editorial Board of Furs & Leather of the World, emphasized the following:

About four years ago, it was impossible to find really exclusive fur clothes; not only in Moscow, but also in the whole of Russia.

Although there were plenty of low-quality furs brought in from countries located in the south of Europe, Russian women, who had no idea of Haut Couture (High Fur Fashion) and had been dreaming from Soviet times of their first fur coat, were ready to buy anything. That was why sellers, who did not care (in turn) about their own good reputation, also sold anything they liked.
