Henry Grethel’s marketing education and business experience had made him an entrepreneurial concept creator and product producer.  In addition to holding executive positions with major apparel companies  --  such as C. F.  Hathaway, Eagle Shirtmakers and Manhattan Industries  --  prior to debuting his own collections, he originated and developed the John Henry brand in men’s and women’s wear.  He has received numerous honors for marketing and design, including being elected a member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America.  In addition, Mr. Grethel designed the opening ceremony uniforms for the Men’s and women’s United States Olympic teams competing at the Albertville and Barcelona games. 

Henry Grethel, a major innovator in men’s sportswear, furnishings and accessories, was an early factor in business casual clothing and also has designed women’s sportswear collections that were featured by the finest stores in North America and Europe.  He is known for his extraordinary use of color that complements and enhances all of his designs.  His extensive exposure and experience  --  from licensor and designer to private and brand label builder and manufacturer  --  position him to create concepts to build upon his existing network of licenses.
